I am the founder of Serene Life Counseling LLC. I have a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology from Bowie State University. Earlier in my career I worked as a care coordinator for teens and families in Montgomery County, Maryland. Today I provide individual counseling for those struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, self esteem and various other health challenges. My goal is to help you stop dwelling on negative thoughts and start making progress towards your goals.

Growing up with immigrant parents, I have had experience trying to manage the expectations of becoming a successful member of my community along with the expectations I had for myself to be a leader by example. I struggled with anxiety of trying to please others while  trying to understand my own needs. Therefore, I decided to become a counselor so that I can help others struggling to find their voice and to show them how to use it to their fullest potential.
